The village of Cascada de Orbaneja del Castillo is cut through by a burbling creek that flows from the waterfalls. The town is a quiet place ribboned with narrow streets, hosting visitors interested in eco-tourism, as well as scientists studying the geology of the moors surrounding the town. A number of hikes will lead you out of the village toward the cascading falls and the water cave. Along the way, you'll see stone huts built without mortar that once held grain for the early inhabitants of the area, as well as extensive moors and cultivated farmland.  To visit Cascada de Orbaneja del Castillo on your trip to Orbaneja del Castillo, use our Orbaneja del Castillo day trip planning website.
