Salto de la Novia Reviews
Классное место, где можно посмотреть на водопад, побродить по лестным тропинкам, забраться на смотровую площадку по вырубленным в скале ступенькам. Сам водопад - очень классный! И купальня рядом с ним... more »A cool place where you can look at the waterfall, wander on the flattering paths, climb the observation deck on the steps cut down in the rock. The waterfall itself is very cool! And the bath next to him is also very good. All the locals were wearing rubber closed shoes with a non-slip sole. A very useful thing when you cross the river, approach the waterfall itself.
El agua bolla por todas partes. Y eso que cuando visitamos la zona llevaba tiempo sin llover 'como es debido'. Antes de llegar al Salto de La Novia ya nos encontramos con agua bajando por la ladera de... more »Water buns everywhere. And that when we visited the area it had not rained for a while 'as it should'. Before reaching the Salto de La Novia we already find water down the mountainside and a couple of fountains. We loved the place. Very photogenic.
Beautiful location, it's very easily accessible and not as crowded as some other waterfalls. You can even get close enough to the waterfall to touch it. There is also the old water delivery system for the neighbouring towns which you can follow along a scenic route. It's 45 minutes from Valencia and definitely worth the drive.
Navajas should be ashamed of itself. Lovely place for a swim or a walk.....but not good for the lesser mobile such as elderly or wheelchair users......as visitors have to park about half a kilometre from the entrance......and they audacity to charge for visiting a piece of river. €2 to pay a grumpy woman to visit a filthy river with rubbish and broken glass all over the place.....and ignorant self-centred people blaring music into this lovely geological glen. I have been visiting this area of Spain for over 12 years. Until recently, it was free......and much cleaner. Now, with a €2 fee, people are expecting their money's worth.....and are thus disrespecting the natural area more....expecting others to pick up after them. But that €2 per person is just being used to make a rich person richer. Expect nothing. Go elsewhere......for free.
