we arrived at the lighthouse by kayak and disembarked to visit the area on foot. Fascinating place surrounded by rocks and beautiful seaView original -
As often you see the lighthouse from far away. You come closer and it thrones on the rocks there. Take your time to move around, it is worth to see it from the rocks closer to the sea. more »

The road down to the lighthouse is closed so you have to park on the side of the road and walk. It is a 35 minute walk but through some very scenic terrain. I enjoyed the walk but in some places it is sheltered and can get very hot. The lighthouse itself is not much to look at and you cannot go up it. The views surrounding the cap are spectaculat though. In my mind they make the walk more than worth it.
