We were there by chance during the period that there was celebration for the patron saint of the village so found it. Grand fireworks nicely decorated streets ring by boat, music and tasty eateries. Was definitely worth it, but I'm afraid that if it's not a party it's not more than a plain villageView original -

Amazing and fresh fish. Great, friendly and english speaking service. We didn’t know how many fish we should take - lady advised us just perfectly. Highly recomended. Very low prices.

One of the ladies there speaks very good English and explained to me that all their fish comes from boats landing in Los Abrigos or Los Cristianos so they have what is available at that time. Many of the fish will be unfamiliar to tourists but she is happy to recommend. We had the sardines a few times which were excellent. Half (media) kilo for €2 is enough for two people and would cost 5 times as much in a restaurant. Super healthy and easy if you are self catering.
