Playa de Gulpiyuri, Llanes

#2 of 24 in Parks in Llanes
Beach · Nature / Park
A favorite among visitors, Playa de Gulpiyuri is a beach that appears to have sprung up in the middle of a field. The pool of water is fed through a system of underground caverns from the Cantabrian Sea, and small waves actually appear. This site is a protected area and a natural monument. Check the tide tables, because the beach is accessible only at low tide. When the tide comes back in, walk the trail across the field to the sea and enjoy the more typical beaches.
