This modernist building marvel was built in 1907 by the illustrious architects Pedro Cerdán and Víctor Beltrí. I suppose that the City Council will have its reasons for this work of art being closed throughout the year, except in summer when the Cante de las Minas is held and occasionally they also open for some kind of exhibition or some special event.View original -

It is an old market currently converted into a concert hall and convention or meeting. The exterior architecture is magnificent testifying to the ancient wealth of this mining town (this is no longer the case now) To see if you go to The Union to visit the mine for example.View original
