Greeted by the owner himself, we leave for a long time in his vineyards and Winery. Joan Ametller is passionate; Big explanations oenological, lers vineyards, barrels, the vats, fermentation, livestock... Then the tasting; the tips on how to enjoy a wine, the info on the various grape varieties. 2 white wines; 2 red wines, a few small things to snack on (ah, the white butifarra!) A treat). Despite being of Capçanes, this summer I've self-imposed learn more the immediate surroundings. A good way has been the "Passport Terroir", an initiative of the two wineries wine appellations of the region 12 DOQ Priorat and Montsant. Well, in my humble cultureta of wine, I want to recommend with effusive, the visit of the Cellar Montsant Joan Almond am Morera and especially the tasting of their wines, driven by a good professional and now friend, Sergio Mendez. Thanks for bring us teaching and straightforwardly in this world of wine, as simple and complex at the same time.View original
