Monte de San Pedro, La Coruna

4.6
#2 of 17 in Historic Sites in La Coruna
Monte de San Pedro, a military fort turned park, offers great walks with views of the city of A Coruña and out over the ocean. Take the unique panoramic elevator to get up the hill, where you’ll see old bunkers and cannons. The huge reach of those weapons helped to hide German submarines and boats during World War II. Try the on-site restaurant for snacks or a nice dinner. See Monte de San Pedro and all La Coruna has to offer by arranging your trip with our La Coruna trip itinerary planning app .

  • We were recommended your visit and I already think it was worth it. We climbed in the panoramic elevator and when we reached the top it was a boom to see all that in the upper part of La Coruña. It is a place full of nature cared for with an enviable mime. The view is excellent. It is to congratulate the Coruñes and their management.
