  • There are a lot of steps to get to the Cathedral. It is worth the visit. On the outside there is a clock Look hard at the bottom of the clock and you will see where it was once a sun dial  more »
  • There is a large free parking lot north on the other side of the river. We went up by the basilica, from which we go out to the right (without going down) and there, the cathedral appears: sumptuous. Visit the interior and museum (audio-guide provided). Above it is the garden of the Francesa above which one can undertake the path of the wall that runs south.

  • Interesting architecture.. brings you back to medieval centuries.. a must visit in Girona.. have a walk around the gardens.. it s very relaxing especially during summer days.. enjoy the view of the old city.. entrance to the cathedral is very reasonably priced... The perfect spot to have nice pictures from the city.
  • Impressive cathedral more widely known for Game of Thrones scenes. My friends and I really enjoyed the surrounding areas too. Lovely cobbled streets, an Al fresco area with what looked like pop up bars. You can access the wall here and fortunately for us took us right to the end where we can walk up the hill to our hotel. Very busy at the cathedral although it was a Saturday.
