Parc Deltaventur, Deltebre

We start at 12h30, an hour before the scheduled lunch time at the restaurant. The girl at the reception invites us to visit the animal park first, then eat, and then do the activities with the little ones (6 and 9 years) unfortunately our little 3 has nothing to do there but well slept the nap ;-) at 13:30 we sat down to eat... very fair service, the waitress is wrong with the plate of a little, serves us slowly, and the dishes very very fair. 3 nuggets with a handful of chips for a 9-year-old is very little. My meat is good, but not for throwing rockets. We finished the meal and headed to the office to start the activity but the girl at the front desk is still eating so we waited 40 minutes longer. when he agrees to take care of us, he warns us that a school group has just started the activity (60 children) and we will have to go with them... I suppose they already knew when we arrived, so they could have warned us, and in such a situation we could have done the activity before eating and avoid being with a large group in front. The positive part of the experience: The super friendly monitors (the girl at the front desk also eh! nothing to say at that level!), very friendly with us, and in almost every activity they did everything so we didn't have to wait too long. The quad was fun, they let me up with the little one I really enjoy! That said, the quads are very very shelled, I do not know to what extent it is safe to get in one of these vehicles... The activities very well, for children up to 10 years old are ok, the facilities taken care of, and in general the activity was interesting: the children enjoyed that this was the main objective of the day. In the end between the entrance and the exit it was almost 6 hours, for something programmed in less than 4 hours. Finally I want it to be noted here that the part of the animal park seemed to us a waste: Above all seeing an Emu enclosed in 40m2 at most. The animal was neither happy nor healthy. We didn't understand how they can have such a big park and leave so little space to those animals. The animal park seemed quite abandoned to us: it's still because it's early in the season and they still don't have it all on point, but it really gives a lousy picture of the park. Too bad because this space could lead to many cool, educational and fun activities in a very beautiful environment. I encourage you to go to Deltaventur Parc, but organize the time very well, if you can avoid eating there, better... but the important thing is that the kids enjoyited it for sure!

A good family experience, a super fun day. Tomorrow on the way in kajak with guide, we cross the Ebro and through the canal we reach a part of sand that reaches the sea, beautiful. And then we stayed to eat a paellite in the park and finish off some shots of rice liqueur. A different way to celebrate a birthday.
