  • Great place for hiking and for enjoying the astonishing view of Calpe. I suggest wearing comfortable boots or tracking shoes and taking walking poles and water along. You can also take something for.....  more »
  • Very impressive rock, visible from the whole of Calpe, as well as from its beaches. I think there is a way to climb, but we did not try.  more »

  • Great but also partially difficult path with an awesome view from the peak. Good shoes and a basic fitness condition are a must. The full trip up & down with enjoying all the viewpoints takes approx. 4 hours. I would not recommend it to children under the age of 10, as you need to hike and climb over rocks with steep precipices and no securing.
  • Walked up to the top today - very hot, but worth it for the fabulous views and the welcome breeze at the top. YOU WILL NEED TO TAKE WATER. Seriously, don't be daft. You will sweat out a litre's worth in summer. Even ladies will 'glow' a litre🌡️. Once you go through the tunnel, it does become hard going: decent shoes (trainers) are definitely needed. Lots of hand-and-foot scrambling over rocky outcrops and the rock is slippery in places (polished by the feet of a thousand tourists 👣.) Chains are set into the rock to help out on the most challenging sections. There's very little shade from the tunnel to the top. There are posters saying no children under 16, but judging from the numbers of children doing the climb, everyone ignores the rule and it's just to avoid recriminations from the public in case of accidents. Our ten-year-old coped much better than some of the swimwear-attired adults😜. Views were amazing all the way along and particularly from the top. Definitely to be done, but do go prepared so that you enjoy it properly.
