Playa de Levante, Benidorm

#1 of 456 in Outdoors in Valencian Country
Must see · Beach · Nature / Park
Sandy Playa de Levante is lapped by gentle waves, offering safe bathing for swimmers of all ages and skill levels. This lively beach gets quite crowded during the height of the season, when local families and passing tourists stop by for a refreshing dip in the clean, blue water. When the wide stretch of sand gets packed by masses of boisterous visitors, take a leisurely walk along the broad paved promenade running parallel to the beach. Lifeguards are on duty throughout the year here, and there are plenty of tourist facilities, including food and drink stalls. Keep in mind that farther out to sea undercurrents can be dangerous. Always swim where the locals do, or ask the lifeguards to point out the safest bathing areas. Make Playa de Levante a part of your Benidorm vacation plans using our Benidorm trip builder tool.

  • I like it quiet 💛 The children gad a wonderful time on the beach. It was a little windy but bright and beautiful. ☀️  more »
  • Always spotless clean, lots of bars and restaurants, fabulous beach, never overcrowded, lifeguards on patrol regular police patrol as well  more »
  • Clean and beautiful beach. But, a) you have to pay for a plot of land on the beach and b) there are no amenities - no toilets and no changing rooms. Not worth a visit.
  • Lovely expanse of white sandy beach one or two restaurants on the front.
