  • We did the guided tour to see the bearded vultures released and left happy. First, although not the most important thing, say that the visit is made in the Lakes of Covadonga. So although the excursion may seem a little face a priori (adult€ 23), you raise an exclusive bus included in the price, which in regular bus is €9. After la.visita, you can get up and get off at any bus. The first stop is at the mirador de la Reina, where other buses do not stop. There they give food to vultures in a feeder, and it is spectacular to see how more than 50 gather to stick by the food. The second stop, it is already above, in lakes, where you can already see free in-flight Osprey. We learned a lot with the Guide, which was which was engaged in person breeding out the eggs and fledge chicks until they release them. It caught us the passion felt for his work, which gave us a lesson on what it means to take forward a project like this. In short, a spectacular visit by our guide and the environment. We had a clear day, because the day before, just when we were going to get on the bus, our guide recommended us to leave the visit for the next day, the day had dawned not too good. A detail that shows that do not want to earn money with it, but give value and publicize their work. Thanks a lot.

  • We attended a girl very nice visit, he explained to us we first saw a video in 3D of the Picos de Europa and then we went forward seeing the recreation of the flora and fauna of the mountains, extending slightly on the bearded vulture. We finish the visit in a room where we could appreciate the sounds of the mountain.

  • Good visitor centre that was deceptively detailed for its size. 3 d cinema and audio display. 3€ entrance fee
  • Very interesting, good work to preserve the bearded vulture
