  • A nice way to get out of the heat. But frankly, despite the police, there are a lot of hawkers selling weed and alcohol. One afternoon we saw two laughs... That said it's a good stretch of beach where the sand is wide and clean. The kiosks are well managed and priced honestly.

  • The area comes to life after midnight. The place divisible in two clearly. That just overlooking the marina (down the concrete staircase) with rooms at the edge of the trash with dehors where to smoke shisha (or hookah). Instead of taking the entrance of the walk you will find beautiful disco clubs, very popular with young people. It is definitely the center of the Barcelona movida.

  • Really nice place for a walk all through the year, and also get into the water in late spring/summer. Just be aware of the crowd in summer - your beach neighbour might be less than a metre away. It also has nice piers were you can enjoy the nice view of the open sea and have a drink or a meal
  • We visited this as part of our tour through Barcelona. We were told about the history including the time the USA dream team refused to stay in the already built accommodation for the Olympics. It was a very nice place to stop and soak up the atmosphere. Due to the weather being on point, we were able to get some nice pictures. In the area there is the beach and the docks for the boats. Worth a look at if your walking around Barcelona or doing a tour.
