Not far away from the church while I rambled the old city I bumped into Culture Center. An old traditional Canary house from 17th century with a beautiful wooden patio. On a little court yard you can.... more »

A beautifully unexpected palace, free to visit, clean and romantic. There is a fine old Drago Tree in the courtyard, suitable for photos; and a cheerful canary bird singing in the shade. more »

Visita obligada si vas a Arucas en el norte de gran Canaria, edificio que alberga actualmente la biblioteca y la casa de la cultura, está ubicada en una típica casa Canaria maravillosa del siglo xvll con una decoración muy chula y un patio interior que alberga un drago árbol típico de la isla, suele haber exposiciones cuando fuimos había de alfarería tipica de la zona con fotos antiguas de lugareños y el proceso de elaboración , tienen un pequeño salón para reunirnos, nos gustó muchísimo,la única pega es el acceso complicado para personas con movilidad reducida hay que subir escaleras

En la Plaza de la Constitución se emplazan las Casas Consistoriales y el edificio del antiguo Mercado Municipal. La Casa de la Cultura, casa tradicional canaria del siglo XVII, incluye un patio interior con balconada y un magnífico ejemplar de un árbol drago. Este edificio alberga la Biblioteca y Archivo General.

The Casa de la Cultura, a traditional Canarian house of the seventeenth century, includes an interior courtyard with balcony and a magnificent example of a dredger tree. This building houses the General Library and Archive.
