The garden was beautiful and I can see why it got featured in a k-drama. We visited in the morning and enjoyed a stroll through the beautiful landscaped garden. There were many photo spots. My... more »
It looks so magical. When the sun goes down you can take great pictures of the light. We had so much fun. The paths are clean and the plants are taken care of really well. The lights are placed beautifully and it just looks stunning. The people in the shop are very friendly and let you smell some perfume. I would definitely recommend to visit.
Visited the Garden of Morning Calm in January 2019. In winter season, they have the light festival in the evening starting at 6 p.m. The garden itself is very beautiful and well maintained. From the tourist information counter, the garden is privately owned by someone rich. The park has the facilities like cafes, souvenir shop and plant nursery too. The most convenient way to travel here is via day tour bus as there's no subway station nearby the park. The traveling time takes about 1 hour from Seoul. Overall, we enjoyed our time here. The concept and theme was very artistic, you can read it at the brochure given. For tourists travelling from warm climate, please be prepared with warm clothing as it can reach -10 Degrees Celcius at night. And be prepared with warm pack for your digital cameras and smart phones if you want to take photos. Some of the lithium battery cannot survive the cold weather. It will function back to normal once you are inside the bus or somewhere not too cold.
