Daegu National Museum is a national museum located in Hwanggeum-dong, Suseong-gu, Daegu, South Korea. It opened on December 7, 1994 and holds approximately 30,000 artifacts. Its main collection consists of archaeological objects from daegu and Gyeongsangbuk-do region.

  • This is a small museum with only 3-5 exhibition rooms (one was closed when I was there) but it has some lovely things in it if you are interested in old Korean artifacts. There was also an exhibit on....  more »
  • Very small museum, no English audio guide, 9k won entry fee, off the center. Rather go to the one in Seoul - much bigger, free entry and free English guided tours.  more »
  • Wonderful, elegant little museum with nicely- lit exhibits with English explanations. Local finds from Daegu. Gives a great glimpse into local history. Snack bar has coffee and ice cream. Charming gift shop.
  • I felt that it was pretty small. But the museum itself was pretty interesting with traditional artifacts and clothes. Also, it's free so no complaining!
