Go with the wine and chocolate pairing: you will have no regrets. The dark chocolates (with with a berry flavor and the other with a spice flavor) paired especially well with the red wines. The atmosphere was quite pleasant and the server gave an excellent, detailed explanation of each wine. I am not a huge fan of wine, but I recommend this place if you are curious about wine.
Spier Wine Farm. It was time to leave Holiday Inn Cape Town and proceed to next destination. Went to a place known as Spier Wine Farm. Much before arrival we were seeing grape vine yards both sides of the road. Spier Wine Farm is one of them. We were supposed to do wine testing here. a huge attraction with some of us. I had only known that there is a Red Wine and there is a White Wine. Red is taken with certain foods & White with certain other food. Before we were offered wine for testing we were given a talk by one of the experts from the Farm. There is much much more to wine then just the colour. There is body , there is smell, there is flavour. thre is fruity, there is sharp and much much more. we had each colour wine with different attributes for testing. Ladies also had a ball. Air force ladies surprised all by not taking or testing wine !!!.
