  • The museum is small but interrested. There is enough footage and history. The lady that work there is knowlegbill the beat is Tannie poppie's roosterkoeke.  more »
  • A small poignant museum dedicated to the devastating floods that immersed the town 25 Jan 1981, taking the lives of apex 100 residents.  more »
  • Well located adjacent to the Buffels River which overflowed to create the original floods. Information is well presented and easy to follow and understand. Certain artefacts and other memorabilia from the flood complete the story to help the visitors feel a part of history. Make sure to visit and expand your own horizons when you travel on the main road between Cape Town and Johannesburg.
  • A sad reminder of a tragic day, beyond the control of the residents of this sleepy transit town. Educational, but sad 😔
