Must see · Nature / Park · Wildlife Area
Witness rescued primates frolic in their natural habitat at Bush Babies Monkey Sanctuary. Nestled at the foot of the Magaliesberg mountain range, this rescue and rehabilitation center serves victims of the illegal pet trade, releasing them back into the 7 hectare (17.3 ac) wooded sanctuary. Take a guided tour on the elevated walkway to learn about resident capuchin, squirrel, and spider monkeys, and lemurs that now live freely in the sanctuary's trees. Bush babies are early risers, so they're likely to be fast asleep if you visit late in the day.
