With every mountain corner, Panorama Route reveals an abundance of remarkable natural landmarks. Experience an unbridled African environment of plunging waterfalls, eagles' nests, limestone caves, remnants of Gold Rush settlements, and one of world's largest canyons. Bring your camera to photograph local specimens of flowers, birds, and animals, all hidden amid a forest-covered expanse. Sometimes the clouds can descend to the lower altitudes and create a misty ambience--take extra care during your drive and be ready for impaired visibility.
