  • During weekdays this lighthouse is accessible to the public. Beautiful views from the top of the lighthouse. Please check beforehand, as during Covid-19, the lighthouse is closed to the public  more »

  • 44 years after the HMS Birkenhead met her perilous fate, this lighthouse was built to steer ships away from the rocks, off the Gansbaai coast. It stands proudly still. You can climb the stairs all the way to the top for R32, to see the view from up there.
