Browse the stalls of Greenmarket Square, a historic plaza in the capital city known for its colorful flea market. Built in the 1696, the square has had different uses during its long history, serving as a vegetable marketplace, a parking lot, and--infamously--as a slave trade market. Today you can bargain and haggle with the vendors who sell everything from local crafts and souvenirs to affordable clothing and jewelry. After checking out the merchandise, head to one of the surroundings cafes and restaurants to rest with a refreshing drink and people-watch.
