  • Most of the stores and resturants move out and close down. Very difficult to communicate with some of the tendents / foreners from the EAST and Africa that cant speak English .Drugs are frealy...  more »
  • We visited the Lion park with two small kids. It was informative and the kids and adults enjoyed interacting with the cubs.  more »
  • Nice gifts, but hell, ever single person at every single stall harnesses you to buy something... even the restaurateurs do the same... if you do not mind the continuous harassment (sales pitch) then its not too bad.
  • Chameleon Village is a vibrant place with lots of small arts and crafts vendors.. They can get overwhelming especially if you go there alone. And some of them can get borderline aggressive in their endeavor to sell their crafts. The Lion park is a small Park with not that many Animals and I thought that R120 for a tour that lasts basically 15 Minutes Max. is a bit too expensive . I do understand that it is expensive to keep such a place open but then they should do something to make us feel it is more worth while. The Cub interaction was great. it is a real privilege to be able to hold a live baby lion in your hands but even there i had 5 minutes Max to interact with the cubs.. It is still nice and a once in a lifetime experience though
