Along the way from Gordon's Bay to Hermanus wandered through these beautiful gardens. We were there in October so there was a lot in bloom. Especially the Protea (Sugarbossie) did her best. The park is very spacious, you have the space as a visitor. There were also people who went here specially to have a picnic. One of my favorite places. Paradise. Quiet, clean, peaceful. Check the weather before going to avoid windy days. Keep your food stored and hidden, the baboon tempt to wander around, but are harmless animals. The nap? Under a tree. Nobody will bother you.

Definitely one of our favourite National Botanical Gardens so far! We loved every bit of it. The walking trails are breathtakingly beautiful! You can purchase a map at reception at an additional cost. Gardens are well kept. Well worth a visit.
