Stari Trg, or Old Square, is the oldest part of Ljubljana. In it are the Robba fountain and some beautiful buildings, as is the case of Magistrat (where city hall works) and which is open to visitation. Before, cars circulated through the city center until the mayor banned this movement and, as the residents complained, he placed carts (like those of golf), which serve everyone and are free. In 2016, Ljubljana was elected the Green Capital of Europe. By the way, Slovenia has more than 50% of its territory covered by forests. The city is cut by the Ljubljanica River and has several bridges that cross the river.View original
