Located in the west part of Slovenia, Boka Waterfall starts as a karst spring and features two stages. Below the cascade, one of the shortest creeks in the country flows over a valley and empties into the Soca River. You will be able to see the waterfall from the road, but if you wish to gain a better perspective, follow the gravel path uphill. The nature is unbelievable. 15 minutes to the first viewpoint. And very challenging 45 minutes to the second viewpoint near the waterfall. Must see. Recommended. more »

Wonderful natural area with great, great waterfall. The way up to the main viewpoint is very (and mean very) steep. Extremely steep. And in the summer, it can actually be challenge even though it is just 2 kilometers. The view up there is just amazing. So it is worth the difficult hike.

Simply beautiful! A 15min walk from the parking lot takes you to the viewpoint, where one has a nice view of the waterfall from below. You can also go further up and earn yourself a stunning view of the waterfall from above - the hike takes roughly an hour from the viewpoint and is quite challenging since the path is not always easy (good shoes definitely a must, plus also bring enough water). I would recommend you to do the "full" hike, the view is worth it! Apparently there are is another trail on the right side (if you are facing the waterfall) of the bridge which brings you literally to the top of the waterfall.
