  • This is definitely one of the best resorts I have been to. The staff are super nice, big thanks to Yasmina from the front desk. She was very welcoming and extremely helpful. Make sure to have your breakfast on the terrace of the main restaurant, breathtaking views. The resort is quite, calm, and very secluded. It is a perfect spot for honeymoon or a romantic getaway. Each villa comes with a private swimming pool and some villas have private jacuzzi as well. The attention to detail is incredible with Banyan Tree. The ocean view villas offer spectacular views of the Indian ocean. Even from your toilet you get breathtaking views. The beach villas provide direct access to the beach with less views. Mind that this is resort is on the southern area of the island, so the beach is a little bit rough with high waves. There is also a main infinity pool, which we usually used from after breakfast till noon. The hotel is also close to the Four Seasons hotel, which has a nice casino and some further dining options.
  • This was our second time pick of Banyan Tree after staying with them in Tamouda Bay Morocco. Great experience once again. Very friendly staff, very caring for when travelling with children, great food selection, attentive staff that even got involved to keep the baby boy entertained while we dined. All faultless and more than 5 stars.
