Anse Patates Beach, La Digue Island

#6 of 26 in Outdoors in La Digue Island
Beach · Nature / Park
Swim and snorkel at Anse Patates Beach, a small stretch of sand that's very accessible, by car, by bicycle or by foot. The natural shade of palm trees provides protection from the sun, and round rock formations against turquoise waters provide a good photo opportunity. Watch for dolphins near the shore. Due to the lack of coral reef, be careful when swimming further offshore as the beach drops off quickly. Nearby hotels provide all amenities such as restaurants and restrooms.
