Learn about the Serbian-American scientist who contributed to creating modern-day electricity at Nikola Tesla Museum, which presents inventions, documents, and photographs about his life and work. Popularly known as the mad scientist, Tesla produced contraptions during the 19th and 20th centuries that are too advanced to be powered even today. Visit this museum to see the world's largest collection on his life and work. A guided tour (available in English) will present some of his inventions, including a wireless boat and the Tesla coil. You'll also learn about Tesla's cooperation with the United States' corporate giants. Browse through thousands of related photographs, written records, and drawings that depict Tesla's carrier. Check the website for tour times, as a guided tour may be the only way to visit the museum. • The tour is relatively short, make sure you check when the English tour is on their website before you go. Even during COVID the tours were as usual.  more »
  • The museum doesn't accept credit cards and doesn't have toilet. There are only few rooms, everything looks very small and it's not able to give appropriate impression of the person of Nicola Tesla...  more »

  • It was a very pleasant experience, the price is affordable, the staff is friendly and they give you information about the inventions and demonstrate experiments which you can participate. The museum is small but I think it is enough to understand what a great mind he was. I recommend you to read something about him and his life before visiting here, it might make your visit more enjoyable. Also, we went there in the morning and didn’t wait at all.
  • This is s tiny museum and as it's stuck a specialist collection it's best to take the short tour to get the best reward. The guide demonstrates the various motors and encourages you to take part in the experiments to see how they work; so you can have a go at conducting electricity and watching the tube in your hands light up as it passes through your skin!
