Featuring historical data and rich collections of artifacts, Museum of Yugoslavia attempts to present the culture, politics, and lifestyle of the Yugoslav peoples from the 19th century to the present. Founded in 1996, the museum followed the creation of the Tito Memorial Centre and the Museum of the Revolution of Yugoslav Nations and Ethnic Minorities. Occupying 5253 sq m (56543 sq ft), it features items mostly related to the former president Tito, as well as numerous ethnographic objects of the region. You can also visit exhibits of international ethnography here, which cover a wide range of topics, including the music and instruments of Indonesia, weapons from Africa, and clothes from all over the world.   • This museum is in the grounds of the Tito Mausoleum. It is a little way out of town and I would recommend taking a taxi or public transport as it's a good hour's walk (and not a particularly pleasant ...  more »

  • It's more of a Tito museum than Yugoslavia but it's quite interesting. If you know anything about Tito, you are sure to find the exhibits fascinating. The classic 1960s building was closed in September 2019, and I believe will remain closed for some time. The museum is in a new building. And of course there is Tito's tomb.
  • It depicts Yugoslavian past perfectly. President Tito and his wife were burried in the house of flowers and their graves are included in the tour. Awesome place. Museum 25. May is still in reconstruction
