Browse through a collection of over 200 aircraft at , which showcases military and private civilian airplanes, helicopters, and oddly shaped flying machines. Housed in a spherical glass building, these exhibits also include engines, radars, and rockets, as well as 20,000 documents and more than 200,000 aviation-related photographs. Here you'll see the only known surviving example of the World War II Italian fighter aircraft Fiat G.50, as well as wreckages of aircrafts shot down during the 1999 bombing. Look for NATO's only F-117 Nighthawk ever to be downed and see the F-16 Fighting Falcon, both hit by land-based anti-aircraft systems. Outside of the building, the gardens also host several airplanes, including the world's first short- to medium-range jet airliner. Museum of Aviation Reviews
Lepo je što ga imsmo, a u okolini ne znam ko ga ima. Treba popraviti krov. Eksponate spolja, je najjednostavnije zaštiti, sa krovom, i aslatirati staze do ekspnata. Postaviti dekorativno, noćno svetlo... more »It's nice to have him, and around here, I don't know who has it. The roof needs fixing. Externally, it is the easiest to protect, with the roof, and to aslatate the path to the explosion. Set the decorative, night light. Carelle, as well as DC3, paint, and go inside. Surplus military aircraft, sell or trade with others, and get more models. The tourist organizations should have, necessarily in offer of the sights of the aviation museum, because all the lovers of the aircraft, and from the surrounding countries in the orilics to see it, and the distance from the center, like the Avalean tower, for example. Small means that a tow should be taken away for this great wealth, who have been worthy enthusiasts for years, have invested enormous personal efforts to have this kind of thing. So, on behalf of all of them, let's say thank you and continue to increase that wealth. Greetings, Mickey.

It gives the ilings down the spine! Once there you can see that the area and the building has not received any love for a long time, hopefully they will get the funds for this in the near future. Do not be discouraged, there is plenty of love in terms of content and very knowledgeable guides. Our guide spoke excellent English and could ALL around the craft building houses and not least, flight history. We did not ask but it was noticed that the guide itself has many years behind the levers. Some parts that were described were made in this way where only self-experience can speak.
It’s old, it’s run down, and it requires lots and lots of renovation and maintenance BUT it’s a beauty on its own right. Just the way it is. The look and feel will tell you much more than meets the eye. You will learn much history about aviation and about this country. You will fall in love. Highly recommended.
One good museum in perfect ambient. Not such a great building. Nice collection of planes, war trophys and aeronautical memorabilia. Good for kids.
