Piula Cave Pool, Upolu

4.5
#2 of 12 in Nature in Upolu
Cave · Nature / Park
Located beneath a Methodist chapel, Piula Cave Pool is a natural freshwater swimming hole fed by a spring. The crystal-clear water extends outside the cave as well, so claustrophobic visitors can still enjoy a dip. However, if you are feeling adventurous, explore farther in and find a second attached cave. Take your snorkeling gear and try to spot the tropical fish. Changing rooms and toilets are available. You can plan Apia trip in no time by asking Inspirock to help create your itinerary.

  • Great place to visit for a Cool Swim on a hot day. Be mindful it is in a Theological College, so be respectful to the locals.
  • Such a nice place to cool off with friends and family. You will literally be swimming with the fishes. Make sure you bring a nice packed lunch and extra change of clothes as you may decide to swim more than once. As of January 2020 it cost 5 tala per person.
