Originally used to grow medicinal plants, Aptekarskiy Ogorod Botanical Garden represents the oldest botanical garden in Russia featuring ornate flowers and greenhouses. Peter the Great founded the garden in 1703 to supply a hospital with herbs and medicinal materials. Since 1805, the land has belonged to Moscow State University and its biology department. You can explore the gardens as well as three different greenhouses. Walk along the site's trails or eat a meal at a restaurant with scenic terraces facing the greenery.   • Nice place of you want a quite day and a change from historical sightseeing. This park was built in 18th century. It has the biggest water Lilly in the world!!
