Hike in one of the lushest natural areas in Romania, Cheile Turzii - Turda Gorge. Visit the 2.9 km (1.8 mi) gorge nestled in the Apuseni Mountains, and explore the surrounding forests and limestone cliffs dating back to the Jurassic era. If you like to rock climb, this area is one of the most popular spots for it in the country. Look for the approximately 60 caves in and around the 300 m (984 ft) tall cliffs and rock formations.
