Pavilhao do Conhecimento, Lisbon
Trip Planner: Europe / Portugal / Central Portugal / Lisbon District / Lisbon / Pavilhao do Conhecimento
Become a science expert in a single day by visiting Pavilhao do Conhecimento, an interactive museum of science and technology. This Pavilion of Knowledge, as its name translates, opened in 1999 with an objective to accumulate knowledge and stimulate the public's interest in scientific developments. The interactive activities allow you to learn by touching and becoming an active part of scientific experiments. Discover the laws of physics by attempting to ride a bicycle over a cable hanging 6 m (20 ft) in the air, or visit the museum's clinostat display to find out how plants grow in outer space. The award-winning museum building is one of the city's major architectural landmarks. Take the guesswork out of planning a Lisbon vacation by using our trip itinerary maker.

The support in some experiments is very good. Not to lose.

There are countless options for the fun of the little ones. For adults, there are fewer attractions, but it is also an interesting visit. Friendly staff!
You can spend easily half a day here if not longer. Worth the money. Great for kids. Huge massive lockers that would work great for holding luggage if you are killing time in Lisbon
One of the best science museums for kids in the World. Super fun and diverse, a win on a rainy day. You can exit and reenter (good to have lunch or a break). Avoid the lines and buy tickets online but beware you need to print them out.
