  • Great collection of modern art from 1900 to 1960. Escaped the rain and the crowded Monastery here for a few hours. The permanent collection is impressive without exhausting the senses. The contemporar...  more »

  • Quite a small gallery with one exhibition space and one permanent display. We saw Andrea Romao in the exhibition space, which I loved. The permanent gallery was a thorough description of the periods of modern art, very informative. I would have liked a bit more information about the artists and the pieces but generally really good. It was quiet and peaceful with nice pieces outside too
  • Impressive museum to say the least. I personally preferred the temporary exhibitions, but the permanent exhibition definitely has its worth as well. The temporary exhibitions are powerful and I especially liked the short movies. The permanent exhibition manages to tell a story and educate it's visitors, while still showing nice pieces.
