Tall, pointy rock formations appear out of the turquoise waters at Ponta Da Piedale, and collections of arches and grottos connect the secluded beaches with one another. Visit the golden sand beaches nestled at the base to see these geological rarities--they're up to 20 m (60 ft) tall--or explore the tunnels and mazes of the area via a small fishing vessel. Seek out an organized boat tour, walk along the shore, or simply hike on your own along a nature trail that leads to the top of the rock formations via more than 180 stairs. More adventurous visitors can rent kayaks here. Put Ponta Da Piedale on your schedule, and learn what else deserves a visit by using our Lagos driving holiday planning site .
Ponta Da Piedale Reviews
Turquoise water and craggy limestone cliffs make a beautiful scene that can be viewed from wooden pathways along the shore. We accessed them near a lighthouse that is a short drive from Lagos. more »
Muy muy bonito. A finales de octubre genial, en verano seguro q lleno de gente. 22 grados muy muy bien more »Very, very nice. At the end of October great, in summer sure q full of people. 22 degrees very very well
Beautiful place with lots of opportunities for beautiful photography. You can use a safe walkway, or be on the cliffs themselves, but you'll have to be careful if you do. It can be very windy here, so if you freeze easily it could be an idea to bring warmer clothes.
Gorgeous area to spend a few areas relaxing by the cliffs and water. Many great "secret" trails help to spread out the tourists so that the area doesn't feel too crowded. However, parking in the area can be difficult would recommend carpooling, taking the beach bus or taking a bike out here instead of driving.
