Cabo Girao, Camara De Lobos

Must see · Geologic Formation · Lookout
Stop at scenic lookout point Cabo Girao, which is 589 m (1,932 ft) above sea level, before going on a hike. This large sea cliff is popular among tourists for its views of the southern coast of Madeira Island, including the capital city of Madeira. Step onto the glass-floored observation platform, which was added to the site in 2012, for a better vantage point. You'll find hiking trails nearby. Choose to start, finish, or center your holiday on a trip to Cabo Girao by using our Estreito de Camara de Lobos road trip planning site.
