    Don't go here if your a veggie. Even the steamed veg is swimming in oil. Room ok. Pool good. Very quiet area. Very boring for teenages.  more »

    The beach is very safe because it is surrounded by an artificial lagoon . So you don't really experience the direct force of the ocean. However the water will rise at tidal waves. But still safer...  more »

    This is a beautiful place to go to when you want a safe swim in the sea. Great afford was taken to create a sandy beach. You can rent a sun bed and sunscreen very cheap. There are also bars and restaurants here. Also several parking. For 0.60 an hour.

    Madeira is seemingly full of of little towns like this one. The big draw here is the bay created with huge concrete boulders protecting it, and a beach at either end made with African desert sand! Very safe, warmish water for bathing.
