Praia dos Aveiros is a small blue flag beach in the area called Areias de São João or Saint John's Sands, in the town of Albufeira, Algarve, Portugal. This is the cove next to Auramar beach hotel. It was so peaceful and only half dozen people there. There is a small footpath to the left of the hotel. Not suitable for the unsteady more »

Lovely beach. Quiter than the others. Brilliant for snorkelling, lots of marine life and caves to explore. Cliffs to walk along and a restaurant. Umbrellas and sun loungers to hire which provide a bit of privacy and place in the shade.

Great beach in a small cove with restaurant and umbrella/loungers that provides good privacy. Beautiful shirt hike to the right of beach with beautiful suprizes from nature. Note, walk back up from beach is difficult for those with limited mobility.
