    I didn't expect this place to swallow up a whole afternoon, but that's precisely what it did. When you first enter the gardens you might feel underwhelmed, but then you turn a corner and suddenly you're in paradise. It's astonishing that somewhere so peaceful exists so close to the heart of the city.

    It is a beautiful park with thousands of species of plants. There are many quiet spots where one can sit down and relax. I would question its suitability for kids as the playground is good for toddlers and there is nothing to do for kids 4+ years old. Some food serving areas don't take cards.
