We drove over the hills from Tymbark to tour this brewery. Got there after 11 AM to discover the Abbey museum was already closed till the afternoon and we could only tour the brewery by phoning ahead.... more »

Apparently this is the only Cistercian abbey in Poland, that has never been closed or abandoned. Local abbot is in charge not only at this abbey, but also poses as a abbot for another three... more »
