Zagroda Felicji Curyłowej, Olesno

We arrived a little after 5pm. This website states closes at 6pm!! (The sign in front states 6pm) The woman running the place was incredibly rude, actually extremely rude. She never said anything while we were standing at the gate. BTW, two other families showed up also. So I finally asked why they weren't open and she got irritated and pointed at the sign, which stated in Polish, we guessed, that it closes 60 minutes before closing!!?? This is a very tiny set-up / museum, it even says most people stay 45 minutes!! She could have told us we had till 6pm, since that is when it closed! She was getting paid till 6pm. She just walked around the entire time pretending to be doing something constructive. We drove 2 hours to see this ... Oh yeah, to experience all the "friendliness" that I have read about. This was really heart breaking experience! I have been wanting to visit here for about 4 years since I read about it. We drove around and took pictures of the very few houses we found that we were painted. We found Dom Malarek, the lady that closed the shop (of course before we got to go in) was incredibly rude too! I smiled at her as she got on her bike, and I swear she looked at me like she wanted to spit on me??????? WTH? When I travel, I paint and leave kindness rocks, something fun I like to do! I had painted 2 that I was so excited about leaving in Zalipie because their artwork is beautiful and brings joy to others! BUT, I brought them back home with me ... Zalipie didn't deserve my art and joy! Truly a disappointment ... I wouldn't bother!

It is good Museum... but they need other languages guide especially English
