Inside Malbork Castle there is an interesting cemetery with graves from various eras. We were told by our guide that there are burials of Dutch Mennonites because there was considerable religious tolerance in Poland and many escaped the wars of religion by taking refuge in this area.View original -

I didn't know that there was a mennonite cemetery if near Malbork. This discovery throws new light on the history of this region and its inhabitants of yore.
