BarasoaĆ­n Church (officially as the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish) is a Roman Catholic church built in 1888 in Malolos, Bulacan. It is about 42 kilometers away from Manila. Having earned the title as the "Cradle of Democracy in the East, the most important religious building in the Philippines", and the site of the First Philippine Republic, the church is proverbial for its historical importance among Filipinos.

  • Almost dawn but still we have a chance to took a picture of the church while on travel. Wanted to visit the place but already late so we just look around the vicinity.  more »
  • So historic & full of holyness place. Loving the interior and the staff & guard are approachable. The museum in the 2nd floor is must visit!
  • Historical church with more info than usual. There's a relic museum and historical museum at the back where you can donate money. Some fascade were painted instead of restored, but it's the Philippines!
