Ayala Triangle Gardens, Makati

4.2
Sit back and enjoy the skyline amidst greenery in Ayala Triangle Gardens, an urban oasis set in the heart of Makati's busy financial center. The 2 hectare (5 acre) grounds covered with tropical foliage host many joggers, walkers, and bikers, as well as a number of bronze statues of Filipino heroes. Check out a row of cafes and restaurants offering a retreat under the canopy. Inspired by London's Hyde Park and run by a major property developer, the park occupies the site of a former U.S. airport. At night, LED-lit skyscrapers and a light show put on quite a spectacle. • Part of this area has unfortunately been given over to new office developments. What remains is still clean and green, and includesd dining outlets such as the Korean-influenced chain Bonchon Chicken.  more »

  • A park in the heart of Makati CBD. A good place to relax or have a break from work. It has some restaurants where you can enjoy some food or drinks. Many people jog here especially those living near this place. It is quiet and the shades of the trees is quite relaxing. At night, the ambiance is quite nice too, good for chat chatting with friends. There is "lights and music" show here during Christmas season.
  • Going to the park and having lunch there is a good idea. The garden is refreshing. If you're a bit stressed in the office, spending an hour or two in the park is helpful. Plus, the cats! You get to enjoy playing with the chubby cats for free. :D
