Have a good soak at Ardent Hot Springs, tucked into the side of a volcano. The clear, naturally sourced water comes into four separate pools with various temperatures. Spend some time in the hotter ones, and then refresh yourself in the colder ones. The site has a small restaurant, and the surroundings are perfect for a picnic. • We went there at night time - not the best idea. We traveled really far just to get there and was quite disappointed that it was not hot at all. They had 3 pools i think, or varying sizes and there...  more »
  • The pools were not hot. The water was cold. There was a small pool that was warm . Two others were cold. Pansol is better when you are after hot springs or hot spring pool.  more »

  • The place is nestled within a forest. There are 3 or 4 pools of water (one which has a depth of 6ft, the others are sitting-pool depth). It is quite peaceful in the area, however there are multiple causes for disappointment among visitors. Their restrooms could use repairs, and their cottages could use cleaning (when we visited, our cottage was littered with animal feces). Ultimately, the biggest disappointment is that the so-called "hot" springs are actually "lukewarm." Visit just to look around, but do not expect to relax much (if at all) in the lukewarm waters.
  • Very nice place to spend at least half of the day or even go there in the evening & relax in hot springs after day travellings. You can also have a massage here for 350 peso. Entrance fee 50 peso.
