At Museo Inkariy, a journey through 10,000 years of Peruvian culture and history. Opening its doors in 2015 after 13 years of developing the project, the museum aims for a comprehensive, entertaining, and educational tour through various Peruvian cultures, including the Inca Empire but also weaving through the Chavin, Nazca, Mochica, and Wari periods among others. Dress, customs, and iconic scenes are all recreated and examined in detail from each different period, giving you quite a thorough education in Peruvian history. A visit to Museo Inkariy represents just the start of the adventure when you use our Urubamba planning site to plot your vacation.

Very well organized and presented information in Spanish and English. Goes through the main prior cultures in Peru in chronological order with supplemented with scenes of models of indigenous individuals in period costumes. Do not miss it!

Wonderful place to knowing the Inka culture since frisrt population until Spanish attack. You can not taken pictures inside. Fev/19 was $10 soles p.p
