Now, you can get to know the complex's colonial architecture and art, as well as the lifestyle of the nuns that live here. Take a guided tour to acquaint yourself with the daily life in the convent and hear about the history of the place. View the living quarters, the simple chapel, the courtyards, and the peaceful patio of flowers. Admire the extensive collection of colonial-era religious artworks and don't forget to purchase a delicious treat or some rose-scented soap from the convent-run shop. I thoroughly enjoyed this gorgeous colonial building and the wonderful art. The museum is world-class and my guide was extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Highly recommend a visit! more »
One of the best museums I've been to in a while. The most beautiful collections of paintings from the 16,17's centuries. The working monestary is so well kept. The artifacts are so well preserved. The whole place is just beautiful! Loved it. And you would too!. Good English speaking guide. Its worth paying a little extra . With the guide you get a better understanding of the history of the monestary.
Had a good english speaking guide who could tell a lot of interesting things.
